A new landmark on our journey to circularity, the Long-Sleeved Denman Shirt features 100% recycled buttons made from end-of-life oyster farming trays. Helping clean up our home coast while reducing our use of conventional plastics, the trays are salvaged by the Ocean Legacy Foundation before being melted down and re-molded into new ANIÁN buttons. For spring and summer comfort, the shirt also features our lightest woven material—a soft and breathable post-consumer recycled cotton and linen chambray blend that combines warm-weather ease with enough strength to last. With a cut and details that can be dressed up for work or dressed down for beach days and evenings on the boat, the design has a button-down collar, single chest pocket, double-button sleeve plackets and a curved bottom hem.
Made in Canada.
10-oz 41% post-consumer recycled cotton/24% linen/23% cotton/12% polyester; the buttons are 100% recycled plastic made from end-of-life oyster baskets salvaged by the Ocean Legacy Foundation on the Canadian coast.
The Denman has a tailored, moderately slim fit that’s slightly more relaxed than our Modern Melton. To fit a more robust frame, we recommend moving up one size. For further details, see our sizing chart.
Wash in cold water and hang to dry. To reduce energy and water use, we recommend washing only when necessary. Less washing also gives your garments a longer life.
